Autochrome

This autochrome photograph is a picture of a little boy who is sitting in a what  looks like a man made wooden plane. The air plane happens to be hanging from a pole which is on the sidewalk of the street. The boy is alone and is dressed as if he was a pilot. This picture was taken in 1915 by a french autochrome photographer named Léon Gimpel. The intention of the photograph is to show what the boy is doing. This is picture is a bit strange because the boys face is very serious and he is by himself in the photograph. The photograph could of possibly wanted to show that this little boy was very serious about what he wanted to do, maybe it's his dream when he gets older. I personally like this picture. It just strange because of the expression the boy has on his face. You normally wouldn't just see this on the street it is very odd.
